Brotherhood of Light Tarot: Arcanum XXI. The Adept
In triumph over trials, the reunion of the Magus and Veiled Isis initiates the Adept. The Adept or the World is the highest possible attainment, as it reflects that which is limitless. With the World revealed before us, we come to the stage of completion and the success of our aspirations soon follows. The Adept reveals to us the one who harmonizes the three heartstrings of courage, wisdom and power holds the key to the gates of the uppermost spiritual plane—that which is pronounced through consciousness or the quint in which animates the living breathing soul of the World. We have met our match in answering the call of the Anima Mundi—the Divine Spark that acknowledges the kin of its own relation in the latent spirit sealed in the eyes of every soul. To align one’s own “way” with the way of the World is to perceive the purpose of harmony and act in synchronicity—that which is guided by affinity or the only true divinity—to obtain the replenishing fruit of Life’s eternal blessing. Devotion to the cause guides the soul with tranquility through the tides of adeptship, as none but the most moderate requests now reign with a day in the mind. In uniting the four conscious elements—the emotions, intellect, will and action—and dueling forces of the unconscious mind—the left and right eyes—the perception of our own perfection in the one echoes the sounds of the song of the whole–it is the voice of the World’s soul. In silence it can be heard as a whisper on the wind. To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.
